Advocating for Your Community: I make it a priority to not make any decisions before the public hearing to give both the citizens and the applicants a fair hearing. When I was a citizen, I made my arguments based on evidence of the case, not on whether or not I will vote for or support the commissioner on his re-election. To make a good argument, I highly suggest you focus on the evidence of the case and not politicize it. I also strongly recommend emailing all the commissioners and Mayor because I am only 1 vote out of 7 on the board.
