National Police Week

In honor of National Police week, which was this month, the District 5 office is featuring a special law enforcement officer who has worked diligently to serve our community: Deputy Jessi Alicea has worked for the Orange County Sheriff’s Office for 2 1/2 years now. Bithlo Neighborhood Link 621

To help the Bithlo and Wedgefield Community, I am proposing to expand Lynx service in the area for the 2020/2021 Fiscal Budget. They have more than a dozen nurses on standby ready to help if need be. Should you or anyone you know need assistance, don’t hesitate to call them: 407-500-HEAL.

Patch of Blue Farm

Here’s a good example of true community involvement! Patch of Blue is a family owned farm located in the mist of an urban area. This small local farm co-ops their property to other farmers to grow a variety of crops that then are sold to local restaurants to provide a true farm-to-table experience. Thank you to the Alfonzo’s for the tour, pineapple and papaya.
