Calling all passionate, engaged young minds in Orange County! The District 5 Youth Advisory Council is an incredible opportunity for high school students to become influential advocates for our future under the mentorship of Commissioner Emily Bonilla. This initiative is designed to empower our youth. We provide a platform for our youth to:
- Engage: Dive deep into community issues and learn how to make a tangible impact.
- Advocate: Raise your voice on issues that truly matter to you and your peers.
- Lead: Take the reins in shaping the future of our district and make your ideas a reality.
- Collaborate: Connect with like-minded individuals and create lasting change together.
- Volunteer: Earn volunteer hours applicable to graduation and scholarships.
Mark your calendars for our orientation meeting at the County Administration Building on January 24, 2024, at 3:30 pm. All high school students residing in Orange County, especially in District 5, are welcome! We will have light refreshments for all to enjoy. Join us at the District 5 Youth Advisory Council, and let’s pave the way for positive change, one step at a time!
