Youth of District 5,

I invite you to join the District 5 Youth Advisory Council meeting on June 19, 2024, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Orange County Administration Building, 201 S Rosalind Ave, Orlando, FL 32801. This is your opportunity to engage deeply with community issues, advocate for matters important to you, and lead initiatives that shape our district’s future.

Engage, Advocate, Lead, Collaborate, and Volunteer

This platform allows you to dive into significant community issues and make a tangible impact. You can raise your voice on crucial topics, take the lead in bringing your ideas to life, and collaborate with like-minded peers. Plus, you earn volunteer hours that count towards graduation and scholarships. The Youth Advisory Council is a unique space where your opinions are not only heard but are instrumental in driving real change.

Our meetings are designed to be interactive and empowering. You’ll have the chance to discuss various topics that are relevant to our community, ranging from local environmental initiatives to youth educational programs. We believe that the youth have a unique perspective and the energy to drive forward the changes they wish to see in our community.

This month, we have a special guest who will speak on a topic of great interest to you. Don’t miss this chance to learn, engage, and grow! Our guest speakers are carefully selected to inspire and educate, bringing valuable insights and experiences that can help you in your journey as a community leader.

We will be providing snacks and a lite meal during the meeting. It’s a small way to thank you for your participation and to ensure that everyone is comfortable and able to focus on the discussions.

We are looking for local vendors to donate dinner or snacks for our Youth Advisory Council meetings. If you’re interested in contributing, please sign up here.
