As you may have expected, we are aggressively preparing for hurricane Isaias’s arrival to Orange County over the coming weekend. The current forecast has the hurricane tracking off the eastern coast of Florida, but there continues to be some uncertainty regarding its path. Within the next 24 hours, we expect to have a much better picture of the anticipated impact on Orange County. In the interim, we are preparing all of our resources to respond to a major rain/wind event. We are keeping in touch with our office of emergency management as well as our fire rescue department. We will continue to keep you informed as the event evolves with hurricane preparation. If residents have questions or need additional information, please call 407-836-3111.
