District 5 Youth Advisory Council Meeting – July 31, 2024

I am excited to invite you to the District 5 Youth Advisory Council meeting on July 31, 2024, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Orange County Administration Building, 201 S Rosalind Ave, Orlando, FL 32801. This is your chance to dive deep into community issues, advocate for the causes you care about, and take a leading role in shaping the future of our district.

Engage, Advocate, Lead, Collaborate, and Volunteer

This council offers a platform for you to engage with significant community issues and make a meaningful impact. You can voice your opinions on critical topics, spearhead new initiatives, and work alongside other passionate youth. Plus, you earn volunteer hours that count towards graduation and scholarships. This experience is invaluable for developing leadership skills and making lasting connections with peers who share your commitment to positive change.

Our meetings are structured to encourage active participation and collaboration. You’ll have opportunities to discuss a wide array of topics, from social justice issues to local environmental projects. By contributing your unique perspective, you help shape the policies and programs that affect our community.

To ensure you’re comfortable and energized during our meeting, we will be providing snacks and a lite meal. This also helps create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can feel at ease while discussing important topics.
