BCC Meeting Agenda

As always, we do have time before the meeting starts for Public Comment and for Public Hearings there is also an opportunity to speak. Please arrive at 8:30 AM to sign up to talk before the morning session. The meeting takes place at 201 South Rosalind Ave., Orlando, FL 32801.

This meeting will start at 9 AM for the morning session and 2 PM for the afternoon session.

Below is a summary of upcoming agenda items pertaining to District 5 and/or County-wide. Click on the numbered links to be sent to the Comptroller’s website for more information on the item, along with attachments of more documentation.

We will start by discussing many issues important to District 5. The list of items below are some of the ones I have been working on diligently, as I feel they are important to our county and district.

  • Next task in the process to purchase the Harrod Property for conservation in District 5 along the Little Econlockhatchee River (consent agenda)
  • Next task in the process to repair the bridge on Buck Road (consent agenda)
  • Dangerous Dog annual fees
  • Reversing the vote, of which, the board used the wrong Florida Administrative Code for the application to run a toll road through the conservation property Split Oak Forest
  • Discussion on moving to the next phase in the possible Pluris water utility in Wedgefield
  • Needle Exchange Program
  • Wedgefield land-use case to add short term rentals in the community
  • An ordinance to regulate riding of golf carts on public roads
